Taxes Grace Period – Fri. Aug 6 @5pm: Please note that your Property Taxes were due this past Saturday, however, Walworth County has given you a grace-period.  :) If you have not yet paid the second half of your property taxes, you must do so on or before Friday, August 6 @5pm at the Walworth County Treasurer's office.  Unfortunatley, you can not pay them at the Town of Delavan Town Hall. They must be paid to the Walworth County Treasurer, who has asked that you drop off your payment in person, rather than mailing it, to ensure the payment is on time. The Walworth County Treasurer's address is 100 W WALWORTH, ELKHORN, WI 53121. They have a PO box, if you choose to send it in the mail - PO Box 1001. Their office hours are 8am to 4:30pm, and if you arrive after hours, there is a drop box in the Walworth County parking lot. Reminder: Your second half of property taxes can not be paid at the Town of Delavan Town Hall, nor should you send it in the mail to the Town of Delavan Town Hall.  All payments are to be dropped off and/or sent to the Walworth County Treasurer's Office on or before Friday, August 6 @5pm. Thank you kindly! Have a great week!   *PS: Yes, you have been able to pay the first half of your taxes in our Town of Delavan Town Hall, however, residents are not allowed to do so for the second half of your property taxes. We apologize for any in convenience. That decision was made by the county. You can contact the Walworth County Treasurer at 262-741-4251 or [email protected]
