Seasonal Weight Restrictions *LIFTED*:   *EFFECTIVE 03.12.26 THIS HAS BEEN LIFTED*   Seasonal Weight Limit Restrictions in Effect  The Highway Department has officially posted seasonal weight limit restrictions on designated roadways. These limits are in place to help protect our roads during the seasonal thaw when pavement is most vulnerable to damage.   We ask all drivers, especially those operating heavy vehicles, to adhere to posted restrictions and use alternate routes when necessary. South Shore Drive – Delavan

If you were unable to attend the Public Hearing at the Town Hall on Monday, April 12, 2021, and missed the presentation from Cardinal Engineering, LLC, please feel free to view the PowerPoint that was presented and/or make a copy and read through the PDF file of their presentation.

 

The Town of Delavan 2020 South Shore Drive Improvement Project is currently in the design phase.  It is expected to go out for bid in early Spring with a Summer & Fall construction time frame.  The project will include a full reconstruction of the section of South Shore Drive from Highway 50 to Bailey Road.
