Town of Delavan, WISCONSIN
- Time and Place of Opening Bids. Sealed proposals for the construction of the Woodlawn Subdivision – Road and Drainage Improvements project for the Town of Delavan, Walworth County, Wisconsin, will be received at the Town Hall at 5621 Town Hall Road, Delavan, WI 53115 until 11:00 am, May 29, 2025, and at that time will be publicly opened and the unit price total read aloud.
- Description of Work. The proposed construction consists of two parts. Contract A includes approximately 3,200 sq.yd. of full depth pulverizing and 4-inch asphalt repaving, road widening to 18-feet, installation / replacement of culverts, and 2,900 LF of road shouldering. Contract B includes constructing approximately 1,400 LF of new ditches, and regrading 750 LF of existing ditches. The Bidder has the option to bid on Contract A or Contract B separately or combined.

All Bids must be accompanied by a Bidder’s bond, certified check, bank cashier’s check or bank draft payable to the Town of Delavan for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid as provided in the Bidder Instructions.
- Rejection of Bids. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities. Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
