Delavan Community Beach Advisory: Delavan Community Beach regularly checks the water quality to keep visitors informed  Recent tests show higher levels of E. coli bacteria in the water near the shore. Because these levels are above safe standards, a swim advisory has been issued. Signs at the beach will indicate this advisory, see photo below for examples.   Swimming in water with high E. coli levels can cause stomach illnesses. However, E. coli levels can change over time so the advisory might not always reflect current conditions.   For the latest updates, maps, and information on which beaches are open,  visit https://apps.dnr.wi.gov/beachhealth/healthmap.aspx. Signs at the beach will also be updated regularly with the most current information.

TOWN OF DELAVAN, WISCONSIN

 

  1. Time and Place of Opening Bids. Sealed proposals for other 2025 Road Improvement projects for the Town of Delavan, Walworth County, Wisconsin, will be received at the Town Hall, 5621 Town Hall Road, Delavan, Wisconsin 53115, Attention: John Olson, Administrator until 11:00am, May 29, 2025.  The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time with an expected bid award on June 10, 2025.

 

  1. Description of Work. The project consists of Milling & Overlay of parts of Inlet Shore Dr., Delavan Dr., and Breezy St. in the Inlet Oaks Subdivision.

  1. Rejection of Bids. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities.  Unless the Bids are rejected for good cause, award of contract shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder.
