There was a cyanobacteria bloom identified and while beaches remain open, we’re encouraging everyone to check before they swim/keep pets away from water with a visible HAB bloom.
It is importance to “scan before swimming” and avoid swimming or other aquatic activities (tubing, water skiing, etc.) in discolored water/visible algal mats.
