Seasonal Weight Restrictions:     Seasonal Weight Limit Restrictions in Effect  The Highway Department has officially posted seasonal weight limit restrictions on designated roadways. These limits are in place to help protect our roads during the seasonal thaw when pavement is most vulnerable to damage.   We ask all drivers, especially those operating heavy vehicles, to adhere to posted restrictions and use alternate routes when necessary. Delavan-Darien Schools Fundraiser

The Delavan Darien Student Council is sponsoring a fundraiser to raise money for the “Shop with a Cop” program. The fundraiser will take place this Wednesday, November 10 at Papa Murphy’s in Delavan – 1741 E. Geneva Street between Starbucks and Subway.  

You and your family can pick up your favorite Take N Bake pizzas and help support the DDHS Student Council as they raise money for “Shop with a Cop!” 20% of all sales on November 10th will be donated to the 2021 Shop with a Cop Program. 

What is “Shop With a Cop?” Shop With A Cop is a program to assist economically less fortunate youth during the Holiday Season. The basics of the program include an officer picking up a child and accompanying them to a local store allowing children the opportunity to shop for their families and to also buy a gift for themselves.

The Town of Delavan Police Department is an active part of this annual event.
