Thursday, November 27, 2025 11am - 2pm We are again serving a free Thanksgiving meal to anyone in Walworth County that needs one. Dine In, Delivery or To Go‛ will be available this year at the Waters Edge on Delavan Lake, 1220 South Shore. Dr, Delavan, WI. All food is being donated, cooked, and served by volunteers. Forgot to Pay Taxes? Now What?

The deadline to pay your first installment of your taxes has passed. Tax payments must be postmarked no later than 1/31/2022 to be considered timely. If you forgot to pay or send in the first installment of your property taxes you are still required to pay them. The sooner you send them in and/or pay in person, the better, as there is a penalty and interest on all delinquent payments. Further, your payment can no longer be sent to the Town of Delavan.

All tax payments made after January 31, 2022 must be made to:

You may also pay in person at the Walworth County Treasurer’s office at 100 W. Walworth, Elkhorn, WI 53121.
