Delavan Community Beach Advisory: Delavan Community Beach regularly checks the water quality to keep visitors informed Recent tests show higher levels of E. coli bacteria in the water near the shore. Because these levels are above safe standards, a swim advisory has been issued. Signs at the beach will indicate this advisory, see photo below for examples. Swimming in water with high E. coli levels can cause stomach illnesses. However, E. coli levels can change over time so the advisory might not always reflect current conditions. Signs at the beach will also be updated regularly with the most current information.
